Organizing in a legal way

This Monday a day full of government authorities visits.

First we went to the Ministery of Transport to register the truck in Surin province. All the paperwork is done and right but we have to come back next Monday because their computer system this morning broke down. We also will get a new number plate.

Next visit was the Land office in relation to get a Land Lease Agreement on my name. A legal thing advised by our lawyer to give me some rights to live at Thai property land and not to get problems with Thai immigration for building our own house.

After that we went to the Electricity Authority to get a temporary building connection for electricity. They just opened this day in their renovated office and everything was still a bit fresh and new for the staff. We will get our connection within about 5 days.

In the afternoon we went to the Or Bor Tor for getting official building permission in my name. Again not to get problems with Thai Immigration building our own house by own hands. We need to deliver one more drawing and have been told the process will take about one month.

On our way back we picked up the basic concrete foundation poles for the Site office, made arrangements for a digging machine and bought the water pressure pump for the project and soak away field pipes. Our Kia Workhorse truck is doing great!

Again some photo impressions of today.
