TED's place (inside) ready. Next step in our process finished.

Our temporary living container (Knock down home) now is changed to a TED's place.

TED's place? This name is derived from "Talk, Eat and Drinks" place. Actually a meeting place for us and for our family and friends visiting us. A nice and inviting place for having drinks, breakfast, lunch, dinner and most of all to have face-to-face communication and relax. 

TED's has it's own toilet/bathroom. Also already because finally we also want to have a Tipi/Teepee tent in the 'winter' time. This toilet/bathroom gives some extra comfort to friends who want to make use of this unique tent experience. 

The whole inside is repainted. On the inside doors we put a bamboo screen. A small bar (max four persons) with comfortable bar chairs is available now. Behind the bar enough storage and on top a small fridge for beer and softdrinks. 

We ordered and received a teakwood table and two benches and wine-red round cushions. Comfortable enough to have a chat or a nice dinner. 

We installed a good music and (if wanted connected) flat screen television system.

The big combined fridge/freezer temporary has a place at the TED's. In a couple of years it will move to the main house and create some more space at TED's. 

Next step is to redecorate the outside veranda a bit. The beer signs are installed and also (solar) party lights. Furniture and cushions arrived already. So just a matter of cleaning, re-painting the veranda floor and making a small garden in front of the veranda. 

Writing this blog now during the (Dutch) Limburgs Carnaval. So cheers (although the world is on fire again). Let's celebrate life as long as possible.

First guest pyramid room in use

Tuesday, February 1. Chinese New Year. Year of the tiger. 

For us actually a double celebration because starting that day we started to use and live in the first guest pyramid. 

Remember we build this first pyramid also to get some experience with building this type of structure so, why not change our temporary living space from the knock-down house / container unit to the first guest pyramid room. Just also to get the experience of living in this type of building. 

To get a glimpse of what we created and how it looks like now on the inside the following pictures.

Having the containerunit and veranda most empty now it's time to redecorate that space to breakfast/dining/television room and small bar. The inside painting is finished already and the first furniture arrived this afternoon already as well. We will build the inside small bar unit ( for 3 - 4 persons) ourself. Outside a small bar table for two persons will be available as well as a space for relaxing talks, hanging around or breakfast for another 4 - 5 persons. All for private use. 

We keep the bathroom/toilet at the unit as it is and only will do some small redecoration. It's nice to have a separate toilet and even hot water shower if we get friends in the future who want to camp in the future pyramid (Tipi) tent. Sofar this is just an idea for the far future. 

Kadhow changed 'houses' aswell and has his own yogamat now. The garden flourishing and bringing us, as part of much more, the most wonderful  and delicious passion fruit. Thanks to all the caretaking of Phatsamon.
