Only four days after delivery of the concrete floor slabs tropical rain showers with lot of thunder and lightning started on a nearly daily base. The roads to our site turned out to be mud again and earlier than ever before ricefarmers are preparing their fields around us.
The rain causes termites and ants to appear everywhere. It's not the worldwide virus but ants disturbing our process. Electric switches and outlets stop to function and also our Kia truck broke down again. A never ending story. This time ants destroyed two main switches, fourteen relays and were helpful for the glow plugs of the engine not to switch off anymore after the start of the machine. Again already nearly ten days of having the truck in 'the hospital' again.
At the moment heavy trucks can not come to our place so maybe we have to mix and pour the concrete for the top floor layer of the second pyramid by hand.
In the mean time and in between the rain showers we went on with brick gluing, we prepared the ground floor wire mash and did the welding and paining of the first steel. The first bathroom window is in as well as the peacock wall mosaic. We put the basic sewage and rain water pipes for the second pyramid in. Indeed necessary because the pump we bought last year has to work hard to keep the plot not too wet. Happy we can make use of the pipes for draining the rainwater to the pond already.
This morning, surprise after nearly ten weeks waiting, the company arrived with the glass rooftop. This afternoon they will come back to finish the job.
Our pond is full of water and the Lotus flowers and water lily's flourishing.
