All good things come in threes

For the foundation and the workshop walls already we ordered blocks, glue and also already the DOS 50 liters underground grease-trap for the main house to install. Delivery had to wait because of the poor condition of the road and our land after the monsoon.

Two days ago we got a call if delivery was possible. I thought it would not give a problem anymore also because of the experience with the concrete truck last Monday afternoon. The company asked us if a truck of 6.2 x 2.4 meters could enter our construction site. No problem and, the same company delivered to us before so they know the place.

Yesterday morning a truck arrived. It worked out the truck was over nine meters long. Only the loading space was 6.2 x 2.4 meters. Just a matter of miscommunication. The driver tried two times but not possible to enter our gate. So he had to go back to the company site to reload for two deliveries with a smaller truck.

In the afternoon the first smaller truck arrived. It worked out the load was too heavy and one rear wheel sank into the land because nearly all the load was at the rear axel. Two pallets had to be unloaded again at places not logic in relation to the block laying process. But it is the way it is.

All good things come in threes. This morning the third truck came to deliver another three pallets without much problems. So we are surrounded by six pallets of blocks at our land now.

We are working on the second pyramid guest room again and creating the small 2,5 cm thick cement spacers for the rebar and wire mesh for the foundation of the main house to create.
The concrete workshop floor is doing great after three days watering and being covered with tarpaulins during the day.
