Step by step because of hindrances. An unexpected but still amazing process 😏

We got some visitors from Mae Rim. Our next door neighbor Donnie on his way for a two month holiday to Phuket and a German friend and his wife on their way to visit their family in Khon Kaen. For all of them not a straight line to their destination so very thankful they showed us their interest in our process by visiting us.

We get more and more followers on the internet interested in what we are doing. Some people ask us if we still enjoy our building process with many hindrances. The answer is YES. Not because we need to say this but because it really is.

Why we can say this is because we have no 'dead-line' so are flexible. And of course we want to make process and do not like all kind of delays but we have to go with the flow and things that enter our way.

To mention some of our hindrances of the last two weeks:
  • Again a broken down Kia truck (this time we needed a new radiator)
  • Dog Kadhow that needs attention after a surgery because of a hematoma after a bite in his ear.
  • Our first air-conditioning that needed attention after a PCB (Printed circuit board), the electronic main controller, stopped functioning because of partly being eaten by ants. I cannot repair myself and we have to wait for the spare part ordered in Vietnam (can take two weeks). Be sure, with temperatures around 40 degrees C not really fun.
  • Celebrating Songkran (Thai New year) for three days
  • Changing weather conditions (rain and thunderstorms)
  • New Thai 'worldwide virus' regulations.
But... we succeeded to get the new Q-con G4 blocks and to do the gluing of the blocks and to fix the main electricity line and bring in tubes to periodically spray poison against termites and other unwanted animals under the new floor. We brought the moisture-resistant and leveling foam layer in as well. So ready for the floor construction. Also the main doorframe in pyramid 1 is placed.

Tomorrow the hollow core slabs (concrete floor slabs) should be delivered but we changed that plan (because of Kadhow's situation) to Monday.

Already we are waiting nearly eight weeks for the glass rooftop for guest pyramid 1. The company is to busy with contract work so we have to wait. We hope it will come some time...

Indeed it's all step by step and slowly. Still go with the flow.
